During the May 18-20 event in Santa Clara at the Network Meeting Center at Techmart, nearly 350 participants engaged in a lively exchange of industry insights, best practices, value chain issues, scaling deployments and next generation developments. From photovoltaic energy generation to highly efficient solid-state lighting, and from advanced sensing and instrumentation for environmental monitoring and effective power generation and delivery, and from new low-power display and communications technologies to clean manufacturing using laser processing, the photonics industry is at the core of developing and delivering solutions that enable greater efficiency, smaller carbon footprints, and promote economic growth.
